Jewish tradition explains that if the Nations of the World knew what the Temple did for them, they would have sent their armies to protect it, not destroy it.

The temple will be rebuilt when messiach comes. Even as children we learned that every good deed a person does will add a brick to the temple that is waiting to be brought down from heaven to earth. If someone sins, the brick comes down.

The messiach will come when the Jews will ALL follow in the ways of the Torah, repent, and won't sin. The Messiach may also come if G-d sees that there is a need and the time is ready. With the arrival of Messiach will come many things, mainly the 3rd and everlasting temple. The whole world will recognize our one and only G-d to be the only true G-d. Israel will become the center of the world and all the people who have mistreated the Jews will be punished by death. Life will be perfect- without any hardships.

We don't know exactly how it will be then, but the Torah does hint at certain things, and says other things straight out (a lion and lamb will be able to be together - the will be peace on earth.) Hopefully we will all find out soon!

There are many theories as to when, how and what. BUT if I read the Old Testament Prophecies correctly - The Messiah builds it himself.

Right now we see Daniel 9:27 half fulfilled with an abominable temple which houses an abominable object, sitting on a Wing of the former Solomon's Temple. All that is left if the foundation stone of Solomon's Temple on the Temple Mount.

On a wing of this foundation of the former Jewish Temple sits the Dome of the Rock and inside is kept a Moon Rock that the Muslims reverence and kiss - it is ignorant moon-god worship - and on it's pinnacle is the Crescent Moon also a symbol of the ancient pagan Moon God, Allah.

According to Daniel - it is from that very evil Mosque that the Antichrist comes from. I believe when this Antichrist comes and is defeated by Jesus himself - is when Jesus will have the new Temple rebuilt.

I know that flies in the face of every major prophecy student and teacher out there - BUT THE EVIDENCE Speaks volumes! It had nothing to do with Antiocus Apiphanese.., as Jesus mentioned the same thing Daniel did much later than that worn out version of what happened and what will happen.

It is from ISLAM that the Antichrist comes - and he will be in the form of a major elected "Caliph" (a kind of Pope for the Muslims) or in the guise of their awaited "Mahdi" (a kind of messiah for Muslims) who will lead Muslims to kill all Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims if they do not convert.

It does not matter what others think. When you see the Caliph OR Mahdi standing at the Dome of the Rock Mosque... beware and cling even closer to Jesus.
---------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE: Whether Jesus rebuilds the next temple or not, he will rebuild the one after that for certain. It is possible that the coming Antichrist may make a consession to share the Temple Mount with a Jewish temple next to the Dome of the Rock mosque -OR- actually let the jews tear down the Mosque to rebuild Ezekiels Temple.

Odds are there will be a shared mount in that case.

Non the less, the present Mosque is that evil temple Daniel mentions and the Antichrist will come there.

The Jews believe the Messiah will build it.
Christians believe it will be rebuilt, and then three and a half years into the agreement it will be desecrated.
