These men were beheaded!!!! How on God's green earth can we have committed a more heinious crime? I served during Vietnam and only wish they would take me again. Give me six of my pals, and no rules. Please.

got your back on that one, I think the trial of our service men is done to appease the Iraq government, too much news media sticking their nose in and all this information, for these bleeding hearts to make use of.Let us bow our heads for our fallen soldiers, should have just made a big Wall-mart parking lot out of the whole country.

It's the ultimate irony isn't it. The liberal press equates shooting Iraqi civilians (intentionally or otherwise) with torturing, mutilating and beheading someone. Apparently it's okay for the insurgence to do this because they belong to a religion that loves death the same way we love life. The closest the libs and the press will come to warfare is fighting traffic on the beltway and yet they crucify our guys for responding in a totally understandable manner to the stresses of not knowing when you are going to be shot, blown up or kidnapped and tortured, or who will be doing it. If you need a 7th pal, let me know.

I agree it's completely sicking. We need to start truely fighting their brutality with real brutality because the restraint our military has is truely too much. We need to go after these guys and make them suffer so hard that Saddams Abu Ghraib looks like a childrens clown party show.
And what's even sicker is that there are people here on this very forum that in various places have praised the death of these two heros as justice. These people need to have their faces beaten in.

The trial of American service men for Haditha is because 24 men, women and children were machine gunned to death without provocation, then the soldiers lied to their commanding officers.
During Vietnam, Lt William Calley and his platoon were found guilty by an American courts martial of having killed 109 innocent men women and children.
Our military has rules of engagement set by our commanding officers. Top commander General Casey told our troops after Haditha that they are to held to the highest examples of conduct for the duration of the conflict.
Why should we sink to the level of barbarism, why should we stain the honor of men and women who strive for the highest ideals of justice, valor, and pride? I hate what the terrorists are doing, but let our commanders figure how to deal with this.

I was in Vietnam as well, and I am glad I came out not thinking like you do!!
You think murdering 3 year olds by US Marines is OK. Go see your VA shrink!
I guess you ddn't see what we did to some at the prison camp in Baghdad! Remember that?

It is wrong, but to lower ourselves to there level would be an injustice. We are a better people then those ragheads. To the person who made the Wal-Mart parking lot comment, amen to that.
