I would be more worried about the gay teacher who told them to make the necklaces! Pull him out of that class now before he gets molested!

I am studying to be a preschool teacher so I know quite a bit on what a normal 3-5 year old would do. Your son is quite normal. By making a macaroni necklace he is working on his fine motor skills and developing coordination. It also sounds to me like you have some gay issues if you are thinking of disowning your son at age four. I hope you can get past that.

Wow, don't you just seem like the rugged man?
Kids make macaroni necklaces. Boys and girls. It's not gay. And to be honest, you probably need a few parenting classes before you continue with growing with your son.
If your kid makes a painting, do you think that is gay? Come on now. What's going to happen if he wants an earring down the road? If your son is gay, that is definitely not a sign and hell, if he does turn out to be gay you may not even know it until he tells you.
Whatever your son turns out to be, support him in all that he is and believes in. That way he won't end up jacked up. Be a dad not a bigot.

wait for more proof
we all made macaroni necklaces in school and it wasn't really by choice but because "the teacher said"....
he's just followin the rules like a good boy should
but maybe you should take him to a monster truck show to compensate and toss in some army toys along with it

You are the most immature person I know. For one, yes, 4 year olds DO that at school...there's nothing "gay" about it. For two, why would you disown your child because of that?! Seriously, you are a poor excuse for a father.....sounds like all you are is a sperm donor.

You know you shouldn't ever say your going to disown your child.
No it isn't gay. That's what they do in school.
You will be getting more macaroni necklaces and pictures for many years to come.

Are you and your wife having problems? That's what it sounds like to me. Maybe you are subconsciously encouraging him to act a certain way to receive approval (both of you, not just one). But the phase should pass. If he starts asking to wear necklaces on the other hand, it'll be harder to break. BUT encourage him to play w/ unisex toys, as opposed to gender-biased toys. And love him regardless. Your fear and apprehension of his behavior could cause SERIOUS emotional damage. He could turn out way worse than gay. Always support your son.

You have got to be kidding. That doesn't mean that he is gay. That is just the project that the teacher had them do. If he is playing with dolls at the age of 7, then I would be concerned.

I don't know if he's as much "gay" as he is a terrorist. one thing all the 9/11 bombers had in common was some sort of food wrapped around thier necks. i think it's best to put some anti-freeze in his bottle and be done with it.
