12 is too young to be dating in the first place. Second, I wouldn't trust any guy over the internet. My advice is to just leave him alone and NEVER EVER tell him your phone number OR address!!!

You have to think about this, sweetie. He says he is 16 and he lives in another state. First of all, he can tell you anything because you are on the net. He could be an old, fat, bald, nasty, greasy guy who loves little, young girls, like yourself who are on the internet and have no clue as to what is going on in the real world or what dangers are out there specifically for you. This world is filled with evil people, you have to remember that, in all situations, especially ones like this. Also, how are you going to date someone on the internet, he can't take you out, kiss you good night, give you presents, and you can't do the same things for him... It doesn't make sense. SO, you want to walk around saying that you have a boyfriend, but you've never met him, never spent time with him... Don't sell yourself short. You are too young to be talking about all of this nonesense. Have fun, don't be so eager to have a boyfriend, especially one online. It's stupid...

NO NO NO NO NO!!! You are 12! NO DATING! If a 16 year old guy wants to be with a 12 year old girl, there is something very wrong there. Never date anyone you meet on the internet - it's not a real relationship, there are too many dangerous people on the internet, and you'll be wasting your time with someone you can't hang out with - you might as well be dating a pen pal. Find a real boy in when you're ready to date, which will probably not be for a few years anyway.

You are too young for him to be dating. Save yourself and him from doing something you'll regret. Spend your time being a 12 year old because once you are grown up, you'll be wishing you were still 12.
Now, I'm not even saying that you shouldn't have a puppy love boyfriend....I had one when I was that age...but please don't try to find one online. I'm sure there a plenty of little boys in your own neighborhood.
Just because this guy says he's 16 and showed you a pic of someone who looks 16, doesn't mean that it is him. He could be a 30-something year old man trying to lure you in and do bad things to ya. Be wise... :)

dating when your 12 over the internet is the most immature thing ever! you hvent even figured yourself out and what you want to do with you life. If you always worry about relationships than you wont get a good education. I know I sound like a mother but its true! Plus dating on the internet is really bad you too young to relize it! SO DONT ask him out. finally the guy should ask the girl out.

k hey i am 14 and i had a boy friend on line its not the same thing as have one u can go to the movies and stuff like that and he may be older than what he is saying he is u really dont now because if its a pic than he could have got it frome a book or something u never no how old the are k thats just what i thought so say no

Im 11, so I like guys too. But I'd ask him if he really likes you and if he does, then u 2 could possibly startseeing eachother.But since u r only 12,I would wait on the asking him out part.just be sure that he's not like an internet predator.

Girl please....with the way you write, do you honestly think you are old enough to make a decision like that? You aren't even a teenager. In the eyes of the law, you are still a child. And he will go to Jail....
