Why do fundamentialists interpret Revelations as describing the end of the world, when it was really written for entirely different historical reasons..don't they bother to study theology...what do they teach them in college how to raise attendance at church through guilt and fear.?

I didn't know you went to college to become born again.
If it wans't for guilt and fear the churches would be almost empty, what do you propose they do?

WHEN YOU REALLY fall in LOVE with the CREATOR, you wil want to:
1. Go to be (Gather and Assemble) with your Bro.'s and Sis.'s in CHRIST to see what GOD's agonna do!!!(Bless YOU)
2. Give as GOD Lead's and Guide's YOU to give.
And you will not, WILL NOT do it out of FEAR----you WILL do it out of LOVE, then it will be done in the RIGHT WAY, not RELIGIOUSLY!!!! Some Religion's use Fear on you, Believe it or Not!!!!!
The END of the WORLD is a GOOD THING, it's when JESUS LOCK's up Satan and his following Angel's for bout' a 1000 YEAR's---there will be PEACE on EARTH after that for bout' 1000 year's. NOW IS THAT A BAD THING???????
p.s. the end of the World does not refer to the EARTH, it refer's to the unGODly system's that have popped-up down through the year's because Satan was allowed by ADAM to enter this CREATION(EARTH and STAR SYSTEM) that's why it's so messed-up, some men (male and female) follow satan, instead of GOD. That's a very interesting question. Too bad some Jesus freak will say that this is blasphemous, but I always wanted to know why some people would take the Bible so literally. Some of the stories in the Bible are no different from the fairy tales you read in children's books. Jonah and the whale??....yeah.. okay

Most of the stuff was added on later as the Bible was being fleshed out. For all we know, THIS is the time of Paradise and Christ's Return. (And if it's so, we are so screwed!)
