Osama Bin Laden had nothing to do with the war in Iraq. Also in a way we have won the war. We have taken over the country and we are fairly secure in our power there. Also we have created a new Iraqi goverment so that in itself is a win. But I think what you mean is when do we leave. The answer to that is when it is safe enough for the Iraqi people to live.

Sorry...I'm not ppi...

The terminology used to describe Iraq...WAR is not correct as the enemy was really terrorism not an army. WARS are fought between armies; terrorists usually target civialian populations. The problem is that terrorists are fighting for their ideal which is Muslim / Religiously ruled states all through the Middle East and the West is fighting for it's ideals which are democratic/ secularly ruled states in the Middle East. The difficulty is that religious zealots simply can't separate the two aspects of governance. Hence both sides duel it out over ideals that may or may not work. You simply can't win a war of ideals as both sides will continuously disagree on what the ideal is / should be.

We have already defeated the old government in Iraq. Winning the war was the easy part. it's winning the peace that's difficult. The war will end when the new Iraqi gov't is strong enought to run the country on its own.

Good question. We will begin withdrawing troops in Iraq when they have a large enough police force and military to run their own country without their newfound democracy imploding. Afghanistan is a little different. With such a sparse population, we will probably maintain the skeleton crew we have there (less than 20,000 for the entire country) for the forseeable future.

war makes money. LOTS of it.
So I think the war will end when Bush has enough cash from it.... or untill there is a full scale revolt by the ppl.
have you ever seen the movie Ferenheit 911?
it will really open your eyes!
