I have a cousin who is in jail awaiting indictment...he will not be indicted until October. His other family members have turned their backs on him, which breaks my heart. I feel led to try and help him in some way. My husband will not let me put up the money for bond...does anyone know of any groups that provide any sort of assistance in these matters?

He has made a mistake...and was arrested for good reason, however, they are trumping up the charges and trying to make organized crime charges stick. So far, they have not been able to get it to hold water, but they are sure trying. He is needing $5400 to bond out.

Blessings,
Jen

If you need 5400 that means there is a 54,000 dollar bond on him ( 10 percent to a bondmands)

You would be much better using that money to hire an attorney to help him than spending it onbond,

In many areas if you bond a person out, they can not longer get a public defender, since they assumption is if they have money for bond, they have money for an attorney.

But at times a person needs to spend time in jail, and if guitly this time will count toward his sentence latter.

Do the crime, do the time...

We are all in prison until the American people wake up to what our government is currently doing to us and others around the world!
