We have been going out for a month. I've known him for years and we really care a lot about each other. Well School has been out for 1 week and half and i've only talked to him once. But he told me he didnt want to break up that he wanted to date me all summer. Hes not the kind of guy just to blow me off. He even said he might be going to the mountains for a short vacation. Do you think I should dump him? Or should I just give him a couple more days to call and check up on me? He is a really nice guy.

If he says he doesn't want to break up with you. Then he doesn't. It's summer. He has a right to also rest and go on vacation withhis family or whatever. He still wants you. Don't break up such a beautiful thing for that. He didn't cheat on you or degrade you, he just is going on vacation. That doesn't deserve a break up. Be individual and do your own thing to. u've already put forth the effort to contact him. i'm sure he's aware of this. it's up to him now to decide if he wants to contact u. set a date for urself and give him until then to return ur calls. if he doesn't then move on. quit giving him control. don't let him dictate when he's going to call u back...be firm! stop just sitting there waiting for him to make the move. if he can't meet u half way then obviously he doens't want to continue w/yall's relationship.

I think you should call him. Tell him you how his distant behavior hurts your feelings. He'll most likely apologize and reassure you of his love (unless he's a total loser, in which case he's not worth your time).
I'd suggest you invite him on a mini vacation or day trip- just the two of you, having fun and rekindling the love that brought you together.

Give him patience if he said he wants to date you all summer then I'm sure he would but right now he wants to go take a break and go on a vacation.Give him a break.

i would try calling him, and just do that for a like a week, and leave messages if he doesn't answer. and then if he doesn't call you back, then leave a final message telling him that you need to tell him something and tell him to call you back. because you don't want to dump him over a message. that is what i would do. but make sure you call his cell phone, or a phone that you know he will have access to.

It sounds like he may just be busy.
You know he cares about you, and wouldn't blow him off.
Give him a chance to proove himself, he'd be very sad if you dumped him, I think.
