Sadness and boredom. I think that's the mix that makes a person want to drink. And for all of you who say to do something different......... don't judge until you walk in someone else's shoes. :)

You're stressed. Talk to a friend, take a walk, go shopping, take a nap, get involved in a new project, watch a movie, exercise. There are so many better things to do than get drunk.

so as to be able to face what could possibly be a drive to hide from what could be felt as a missing sense of self and to hopefully find the deep reasons why a brain is not present

i drank cause it was sunny, i drank cause it was raining, but i always drank cause i loved to .near the end i had 2 . that was 8 years ago
am happy sober growing up 1 day at a time
i mostly drank cause i didn't want to deal with me and my problems. do yourself a favor and call a.a. its listed in the phone book
