Well, you are probably pretty mature now and have been for awhile. The problem is that guys, at least, change several times during their lives and about 23-25 is one of those big changes for most. Before then can be a dangerous time to get married.

it shouldn't matter too much. if you are serious and not just wanting to play around, and so is he, then it can work. I started a relationship with my boyfriend when we were 18 and we're still together. almost 3 years now. but it seems you have the right idea, it's all about how mature you are. and him being 6 years older might make him more mature as well. i think it's okay.
