I get a lot of free fonts from 1001fonts.com. I'm pretty sure they'd work with Microsoft Office 2000.

You're going to need a winzip program, too, to unzip the files (if you've downloaded fonts before, you'll know what to do). You must download the fonts individually as well, in order for them to be free.

Put this in your google search

index of .ttf

It should come up with some links like this:

http://www.emc-zurich.ch/.ttf/?C=N;O=D

then right click and save as and put into your Font folder in Control Panel.

( Works I just tried it and the free font sites are not FREE)
