Asking these kinds of questions is extremely rude and while I personally don't like Muslims ( I am Hindu) I don't wish to offend anyone by attacking their religion. But to asnwer these questions so that people trying to find a real answer to some of your questions. As far as wearing a burka and traveling and dishonor, it all depends on how strict of a Muslim you decide to be. Most Eastern religions are flexible in their thoughts or offer different schools of thought so not every one is bound by one word. And as far as the beheading, what you are referring to is where the Quran states that if you cannot convert someone to the Islamic faith, you are to strike the person dead as to send them to Allah to join the army of Allah. You are a very rude person.

Yes, I agree, it is upsetting that so many women and children are treated this way. Keep in mind, though, that not all Muslim countries require such strict isolation and/or punishments. If you really were to convert, the actions required of your spouse and children would depend on which country you reside in. In some places, veils and such are required no matter what religion you follow, and in some, veiling is only and example of extreme piety (like nuns).

but ur wife has to take ur permission before she travelles
