Have been talkin on the phone for 9 months and one day he says maybe we need not to talk for awhile because he has alot of things on his mind. We live 8 hours away from each other and have only seen each other one time (the first time we met). I have fallen in love and now he does not call or return my phone calls. I sent him a gift for Father's Day and he called me to tell me thanks, but have not heard from him since...should I fight for the relationship or give up!!

Ive been through this before with my current boyfriend, i think contact is important, make an effort to go and see him, and talk to him. Dont let him play with your emotions by not answering or returning your calls, just let him know you are going to see him and you want to talk in person. Take it from there.

move on with your life...it's obvious he's already done that. love is blind but ur walking down a one way street. there are so many men in this big world. what i do after break ups i call up my girls, get my hair and nails done, pick out a nice outfit and i go out and have a good time. u don't have to jump right back into a relationship just go have fun to ease the pain. hope this helps.

let it go sweetie long distance relationships rarely ever work out there's no way to have a completely fufilling relationship over the phone anyway that's like middle school boyfriend and girlfriend...a grown person needs more than that!!

My feeling on this is he has someone else. He probably has had someone the whole time and just did not tell you. I think you should just move on. You can find someone else who will make time for you and will not just quit talking ot you for no good reason, This relationship was merely a good time and talk for him. Move on and let your heart heal. Good luck!

If he is not calling you ir returning your calls, he probably has met someone else. I say move on and don't look back.
