Well steroids sound as smart as tying a brick to the collar.
Plain old exercise should do the trick. Some are naturally more muscled than others. It is genetic. Maybe a lot of walking and jogging. Swimming is always good too, works a whole other set of muscles.

Feed him nothing but PURINA dog food... I have heard of hooking weights to their harness, and letting them pull it around, but have never tried it..If you want to build good jaw muscles, give the dog a kong ball. Make sure it has alot of room to run around, and take it for a walk on a regular basis. Most pits pull pretty hard when they are walked, so it should build him up pretty good to pull against your resistance If done at least every other day. This is a more "humane" way since people are so against having a healthy muscular dog. People work out and lift weights, so why is it wrong to work out your dog???

Why do you need your pit to look so muscular. Bricks, chains, etc are considered animal cruelty and if animal control finds you, not only will you be charged with animal cruelty but you'll be suspected of dog fighting, which carries heavier fines and may result in your dog being taken and put down.

Feed your dog well (Not Ol' Roy, Not Iams, not Pedigee, but a high quality food), walk him regularly, and he'll be fine.

I have a pit mix and she's super muscular. I think they are genetically that way so there is no need to torture (brick etc) them. Quality food and plenty of running around outside. It works for kids too! :-)

Wow! Let the damn dog be himself! Don't put a brick or weights around his neck!! If he's meant to be muscular, then he will be. Don't be rude and put him through this so your ego will shine, knowing you have a "ripped" dog. Wow! Some people are so ignorant.

We gave ours a very high protien diet, let her play with tons of other dogs and run her. I think some people might put heavy chains on their necks. Pit's will awlays be muscular as long as they eat healthy (not toooooo much people food) and exersise regularly.

Run him play tug of war. There are speacl harness so you can hook him up to pull they cost about 40.00. My pit as ripping muscles he stand to just above my knees, about 90 lb. hes neck is 22 inch's he beautiful. I feed him purna dog chow and three time a week he gets 1/2lb of raw groun beef, i grind it myself, into which I mix 2 raw eggs and a 1/2 cup olive oil. Makes his coatshine.

Now how would you like a brick around your neck. Yeah it will help the process. This day and age you don't want him too big. Other people complain. Try a padlock. its alittle smaller but weighs.
