How many countries ask for and get aid and assistance from the USA? How many countries owe the USA for its own existence? The USA has no right to TELL other countries what to do, BUT the USA has the right to shape another countries politics to protect itself. Example: A country is attempting to build Nuke weaponry. Is it for self defense or for first strike capabilities against a country because they get into a fight over something. If you think about it what would you do? 1) let them build a nuke and pray they don't use it. 2) Attempt to politically adjust a countries views to insure no first strike capabilities are available. 3) Wait for a country to build then launch that weapon to prove their true intentions and possibly having millions of victims and then having to defend itself with those same weapons killing more millions of Innocent people. The intention and stability of a of a country is necessary for any plan of action or inaction, but where Nukes are concerned we ALL ARE AT RISK. Are the Nuclear power plants for energy type power or for a power play on the world politics?.

All countries have the right to tell other countries what to do. It's up to the other country to decide if they will do it or not, and what consequences they're willing to endure if they don't. Right now Iran is telling the west that if it intereferes in its nuclear program it will shut off all oil from the middle east by firing missles at ships of all countries in the persian gulf. If the US cares about the price of oil & does not want to let this happen, than it will leave Iran alone. Iran would be very stupid to believe that's what motivates America. We cannot allow Iran, governed by extremists to have the knowledge & ability to make nuclear weapons when it would use them to force the world to accept an Islamic extremist view in the middle east or give such information & scientist to terrorists that might attack the US/Europe, etc. Iran is free to reject the current proposal of incentives if it dsesires war, and acceptance alone doesn't prevent war from ever happening.

I'm an American, and I know my country thinks it's pretty Superior sometimes, but sometimes the U.S. is trying to help the other country and sometimes, like with the Vietnam War for example (this war is going to turn out just like it! The hippies are going to pop out all over again even more than they are already and just... I don't know, but you gotta love the hippies man, I wish I could be that free spirited and not give a poo what anyone thought) we are afraid it could influence us negitively in the future. So I think sometimes America has a right (like if they are involved in some way) and sometimes not so much.

Of course America has the right to tell other countries to do, just like every other country in the world has the right to tell the United States what to do. Does that mean that they (or we) will listen? No, but it's still our right to try to get people to see our point of view and act on it.
