I was wondering if they speak mainly French or English. And no I do not think that they are Eskimos.

English is the primary language of Manitoba. If you are traveling to Quebec, Ontario or some of the maratime provinces you are more likely to come across french but for the west English is the dominant language.

Quebec, Canada is where there are more French-speaking people, but most of them can speak English too.

there are some people here that speak french (not too many) and other languages but if you speak English you'll be OK
