It was a great movie and it should have won an academy award. The movie was much more than the life story of the Cinderella Man, James Braddock. It was a boxing movie, a love story, a story of how hard the times were then and the struggles people went through and the country rooting for the hard luck underdog Braddock who proved that anything is possible if you believe in your dreams.

Yes I thought is was. Russell Crow did an excellent job along with Paul Giamunnie and Renee Zellwiger. Good story and really brings back the story of an All American Hero :)

I just saw this movie over the weekend and YES, that was a great movie. Even if he had died at the end, it would have STILL been a great movie. Its the american dream story... so go hard or go home!

It was a wonderful movie despite it being about boxing and all. It was more about the depression. I rented it and watched the documentaries on the real guy. He had a lot of character.
