If they are really your friends they will respect your actions, feelings and thoughts, whatever it is you choose.

Pride for your friends? B*llsh*t. If your friends are YOUR FRIENDS, they'll support you even if you went out with a Vulcan.
Do you like her?
Are you interested in her?
Go to her!
This is your life and that means your the one who counts, not this pride or vanity people get sucked into!
Go for it dude and be happy!

Listen to your heart if you are serious about dating this girl. There's no use swallowing your pride if you don't like her that much.
I like this girl and she's older. Whenever I talk about her, my friends don't listen to me or they don't take me seriously, but that's how I feel and I do say, "go for it! it's your loss not theirs"
Good luck

Go for it! What have you got to lose? If you lose your friends then they weren't your friends to begin with if they don't support your decision. Hopefully your friends will come around and like her.

Look player, be your own boss...if they are your friends, it will not matter who you are with, as long as you are happy....step out of your ethnic bubble, go for something different, and see what happens...no one said you ahd to marry her. ITs your relationship, your happiness, not them...suck it up boy...good luck

When I met my (now) husband, everyone was telling me to forget him, but my heart was telling me to go for it. We have been happily married for over 18 years now!! Go for it.
