I'm not a math student but this is with my basic knowledge...
When you multiply something you are adding it that many times with the multiplied number
Ex~ 3 x3= 3+3+3=9
4×4=4+4+4+4=16
So when it's
Half ×half =half +half =1??
Explain me the lodge if I'm wrong

Whenever you multiply...use the X in a fractions calculation, the X is really saying of...so 1/2 X 1/2 is half of a half, and thats a quarter

a half multiplied by 2 is actually divided by 2, so i think it's a quarter. Anyway, what's with the randomness of the question?
