That was very nice of her. But, yeah, Sweets, she was just brushing you off. She doesn't like you in that way. Don't fret about this one. :)

Well what she means by this is, "No Matt, I don't like you that way but I would like to just remain friends." Just be nice to her and maybe one day you can try again...

It all depends. I mean some girls do say stuff like that to nicely blow you off, but others just aren't ready for relationships or just do not want to be in one.
