The time of day is not as important as the exercise itself.
I have read studies and the most recent being that there are benefits for each time of the day.
Morning, for obvious reasons will get you energized for the day. Evening has been said to cause insomnia, but NOT for all because studies have actually shown that it helps you sleep better.
I am an avid cross-trainer and have done all different times of the day. I do prefer routine, just to get it in, but I see an overall benefit and am not affected negatively at any time.

Anytime you have time! It can help you wake up in the morning, can make your reenergized in the afternoon around lunch, but exercising at night before bed can cause insomnia in most people. Do what feels right to you and best for your schedule.
Excercising does wonders for your mind and body. People who excersise have better sleep at night and their minds are usually quicker as well. Not to mention most women are attracted to toned men!

in the morning. you burn fat and all that good stuff from the day at night anyways, which is why you arent supposed to eat right before you go to sleep. i personally think morning exercise is more effective. BUT just experiment with it and see what works for you.

I prefer exercising before dawn, I used to wake up at 4 am & hit the gym at 5 am, that way, I am warmed up & pumped up to go to work! Exercise wakes my mind & body
