Not admitting my mistakes. Dad's are too proud. Whether small or big, admission of a wrongdoing is always the best thing. Once I learned that, my kids respected me more. Try it.

Since I am still a prego the worst thing I have done is got drunk before I found out ~ but I know much worse things will be to come once she is actually here. No parent is perfect, and I know I am no different!

Not putting my foot down when family members went against my wishes and fed my very small child candy and cokes. . . it has caused problems and I wish I could have been more firm on the subject.
