I totally agree with you there.. We are also in same predicament .. (live in California) here it is NOT mandatory for our children to go to preschool yet its a very essential step to their education in my opinion. I finally found a loop hole and got our son in .... Lie! sorry to say it but lie, lie about how many ppl are really in your home.. They dont check they have no way of doing so. My son now is in preschool and has learned to interact with other children (he's an only child) is learning to spell his name, recite his A B C 's, even knows the functions on a computer. Most these things he WILL need to know before they allow him into kindergarten, so im with ya i think its a bunch of BS cus my kid doesnt have a speech problem or because my husband makes JUST enough to pay our rent and bills and NOT be "low income" that my kid isnt allowed to go unless i pay money i dont really have to shell out for school. Unfortunately in the long run they will try to erase the whole "middle class" as we are.. they help the poor and push us down.

properly i do not realize why it must be an intense priced preschool, yet in any preschool you bypass and excursion and get ideas about you may seem for this stuff alongside with others: protection, ex: the way you verify in/out your baby daily, cleanliness, what they're going to be doing all day, ex: do they positioned up the time table for the week, do they deliver domicile worksheets they have performed for that day. when I went preschool/daycare searching i'd seem on the toys and furniture is it previous raggdey umm merely stuff like that. And continuously undergo in thoughts, don't be afraid to ask any questions, no remember how stupid you imagine the question is who cares...they are providing you a service of searching after your baby. they desire to make you chuffed and particularly a lot could!

A. Having children is never cheap. You haven't worked that out bf you have children? B. I so disagree with lying. What kind of a msg that sends to our children that lying is ok? That's just immoral. C. There is always a second job option. Good budgeting always help. For the sake of the child, make sacra fices and invest in his future. Dishonesty is not the way out.

if it's not mandatory, and you don't want to spend the money to have your child learn to tie their shoes and finger paint, then simply don't send them. teach them at your home, play with them, watch movies with them, anything to develope their brain. i never went to preschool and i'm a 4.0 honors student. however, if you don't have the time and think that preschool is necessary in this situation, then i don't have any other advice. because, personally, i don't want our taxes raised just to pay for other people's children's preschool.
