With all the bad mom Britney stories out there, I was wondering what kind of goofy mistakes you all have made with your kids. A best answer will be chosen!

its been funny reading these stories. im sure we've all had "britney" moments, just we don't have a camera shoved in our faces each time we leave the house. if so, im sure we'd all have been told we were awful moms.
my most "britney" moment was going to see my grandma, and baby was asleep in his capsule/carseat and i put him quietly in the corner of her lounge, visited with grandma, had lunch, then went off home. 20 mins later my grandma called my cellphone, i was still driving home, and said " the babys awake" and im thinking " no hes not?" then realised i'd left him at her house!.
smart one i am!

i have a story about when i was pregnant.

I was going through all of my stuff from a baby shower I had. I threw all the trash into one bag and all of the stuff I got in another. With out thinking about it. I threw one of the bags out in the trash can. Then my mom was looking for her Olympus camera like a week later. After the trash had already came. I looked into the bag with all the baby shower stuff to see if i stuck it in there. Come to find out I threw the bag with all the baby shower stuff into the trash. And along with that was my moms digital camera, worth about 450 bucks at the time. I felt so bad I just started to cry because a lot of stuff people gave me for the shower was in there as well. I felt so stupid. But I did lose quite a bit of brain cells being prego. I ended up buying my mom a new Nikon camera that was around the same price. I still cant believe how stupid I was.

I'm not a mom but a big sister and cousin!
I left my little bro on the bed for like 2 seconds while i grabbed a towel and he rolled off the bed, (Which was the first time he ever rolled go figure!)
and when my cousin was really little we were sitting in sunday school and i was trying to take her out of her carseat because he was whinning and i carefully tried to manuevor her from under the handle of the carseat but knocked her head on one of those metal folding chairs in front of me!
Man was I embarrassed!

9 months pregnant with daughter, son was 15 months old....took him for a ride in wagon (in desperate attempt to start labor), wagon tipped over son fell out.....scared the crap out of both of us but all was fine except still didn't start labor.

Don't worry....he's now 11 and she's 10 and we've been through more than I can count "Britney moments" and we've all survived so far.

Underestimated how far and quickly a newborn can move. Son ended up in the floor the second I turned to grab his clothes after I even made sure he wasn't close to the edge.

Listen up New Moms....I never considered myself a bad Mom but....as I was giving my son a bath... I think he was less than 3mos old I decided to sit with my feet inside the tub and him on my lap ...he almost slipped head first into the tub. NEVER do that with out a towel or some thing to keep your baby on your lap. Yes I did catch him by his feet before it was too late....scared the blank out of both of us!

When my daughter was 5 months old I was carrying her and I tripped and fell. I was able to twist myself around and land on my back and she landed on my chest then rolled on the floor. I cried for almost an hour cause I kept thinking what could have happened.

One time I let my daughter, about 8 months old, stay on my bed when she fell asleep there. I left, forgetting to plug in the monitor in my room...knew she was awake 45 minutes later when she landed on the floor :o(
