It was all arranged before he met me. We're not dating or anything we haven't even swapped numbers but we work together and he seems to like me. Is it worth pursuing, is it possible he may want a relationship or am a kidding myself, does he just want a one night stand? I'll have left his place of work by the time he returns.

It's about 5 weeks until he leaves.

What do you want to do , that is the main question and are you looking for a relationship?

If you are looking for just a hook up that is probably what you will get. If you want something long term, wait till he gets back then contact him and go on a date. See what happens from there.

Listen, I went through this a couple of years ago with a guy from the same country as me./he had a business in oz and was returning. Our meeting was arranged by my closest friend who lives in oz. We met up, had a great time and he left, him saying he had to "business" and all. He returned 6 months later, we got together and it was brill until i showed what i was really feeling and he ran. Not to oz i hasten to add but to a younger model 18 yrs his junior, he was 36 at the time and i was a good looking 38. He's moved back home for her now. So the answer to your ? is SEX. Don't be fooled by the male flirting, he's going and doesn't give a flying f***. A relationship is sooooo far from that dickheads mind, i'm suprised he has a working mind at all. T ake care

No, if he's leaving, he hasn't the time for a relationship, and as you haven't dated yet, that's not going to happen.
What he is after, like most of us guys, is an easy lay. No guy will turn down a free piece of sex.
If that is fine with you, and doesn't upset you, being a one night stand, then that's fine.
However, if you don't wish to satisfy his sexual needs, just for his pleasure, say bye bye, and move on, to someone, who will be hanging around, and looking for a relationship.

Well, if you too want to enjoy yourself, then maybe you could, but if are looking for a long term relationship, I wonder if five weeks i enough time to build a really solid and unbreakable relationship.

You haven't mentioned how long he'll be gone and how do you propose to meet once her returns-you won't be on the same job.

The only good way to figure this out is too keep things friendly with him without giving yourself away to him. If he's a decent guy, he won't want to have sex with you until you're in a relationship. Exchange numbers and keep in touch while he's away (if he's interested). If you're still available when he returns, you two can start dating.

i agree you should hold off the sex until he returns, meet up for a drink when he gets back and go from there, also you could keep a record of how much contact he is in from abroad,if its fairly regular he is into you,you are obviously on his mind!good luck!

He wants to "hit it" before he leaves, you will know if he REALLY wants a relationship if he say no to sex until he returns.

Drop the sex. Don't you have sex with some one who is leaving. If you both think you can fall in love when he gets back-then wait til he gets back.

It sounds like he wants a one night stand to me, tell him that if he really cares about you he will have to wait until he comes back.f
