Well Lets do a comparative analysis of Sailor Moon and other Dieties/prophets.
Sailor Moon wears a skirt
Muhammed wore a skirt
Sailor Moon can do magic
Jesus did a good number of magic tricks too
Sailor moon cartoons and comics are watched/read by millions
The Bible/Koran is read by millions
Sailor Moon is a Fictional hero that fights evil
God/allah/etc... are fictional heros that fight evil
Looks like Sailor Moon fit's the description of being a God to me. So you go start your church of the Sailor Moon!! I wish you all the best.

Yeah, think of all the crazy sh** people worship nowadays (which I should not have said because it's disrespectful to other people's religions but they should know by now that I make fun of everything and if you question something I say it's probably because it's not meant to be taken seriously) *wheeze*. The importance of periods, folks, is that you don't die of lack of air! Like what just happened to me.
But anyhow! I don't see why not. Sailor Moon seems like a good...what's the word I'm looking for, worshipping candidate? :P
