No. The founders were concerned about divided loyalty between their nation of origin and the US.

I think that an immigrant who has been a U.S. citizen for over 35 years, has no bad records, has some miltary experience, goverment experience and has done well has the right to run for president. All our current presidents are descendants of immgrants, some are no different than Americans. Some have grown up and been raised the same way American kids have and some are even smarter in politics than some Americans. You just have to give them a chance.
Just because they are from a different country doesn't mean they are going to run this country in a bad way, thats why we vote for them, the citizens of US would first have to find him/her worthy of beinga president. An immigrant should prove himself that he is worthy of being elected by showing how much he know about American law, politics, and has had some experience in the goverment,

are you talking about the US? if so, then no, definitely not. the constitution states that the president must be a natural-born citizen of the US and have been a resident of the US for 14 yrs. If just anyone can become the US president from any country, there would be too much foreign interference. however, if the constitution ever changed, no doubt Arnold Schwarzenegger would run!!!

Don't you think that all presidents were either immigrants or a descendant of an immigrant? Of course we're in a different age and time, and I don't think that an immigrant should become president.

An immigrant can't be president. The constitution doesn't allow it.

No. And that's why we need to uphold the constitution and not let people who don't represent America but other foreign nations from ever getting elected again.
You can't change it just for Arnold. After his 8 years you won't know what you just steped into.

No, and fortunately the Constitution agrees. Many immigrants are and have been Congressmen though, and can hold other offices.

California has Arnold for governor and now he wants to be president. It's a scary thought.
Believe me. I'm from California and he doesn't represent us very well at all.

No. They might have agendas that don't relate to our country. Besides, shouldn't American presidents be from America?
