Just because someone asks a silly or funny question does not mean they are stupid. I mean did Yahoo answers make a do's and don'ts list. Lighten up!

I know, some people are terrible. I was reading a question a man asked a while ago about his cat, and some lady sent a 100 word reply fussing at him for not asking about what he could do to help the community or some crap. When in reality, that man could spend every waking moment working for free to help people, and only need to know one thing about his cat, and the dumb lady jumps down his throat! (I hope she reads this, and realizes how silly she is!)

I love the silly questions. I love the thought provoking questions, too. But, during the hectic day at work I appreciate the silly ones that bring a smile to my face!

I like the funny questions and I love reading the answers people give, but they're only funny when they know the person is being sarcastic. When they don't then that's when they tend to get mean, when it's their fault for not grasping the concept of sarcasm.

I totally agree. I enjoy ASKING and ANSWERING funny questions. For ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, at least i'm not out selling drugs, or robbing banks, or messing with your daughter! I agree... lighten up a little folks!

Good point...but something tells me you can't have any possible way of knowing what anybody "thinks". :P

Personally, I love the silly questions. They make my day and are fun as well as easy to answer. Some people just can't take jokes. Their loss!

YahooAnswers does have guidelines and rules. You should read them, two or three times, so you get the idea.
They attempted to discourage misuse (asking ridiculous or rhetorical questions, and causing other kinds of trouble) without imposing unnecessary limitations.

Thank you! I think most of the hard questions are boring and usually the asker knows the answer already. Bla on them.
