You fill your mind with so much anger and confusion, you either enjoy to say these outrageous things you say or you cannot help it.
Go to try to find a church where you are fed spiritually. God loves you and is willing to forgive all your sins if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and you repent.
Guard your mouth because what your mouth lets out, that is your heart's contest.
I have been reading your 10 point best answers, and the points you give to people. I do not see in you a person who seeks God with open heart. You are an angry person. You try to be funny, but I feel sad when I read your stuff.
I do not know what is going on between your buddies Bettierage, jim darwin, bc munkee, curious chemical, huntjames32,cornfunkel,atheist candy, memento mori,lasermouse9,gravesendian...but you sure give each other a lot of 10 point answers, and when I read the questions and answers...things do not make sense to me.
I love the Lord, and I want to spread gospel, good news...and the good news is that Jesus loves you...He died so all the sins you have done, are doing and will do, would not earn you separation from God in eternity. It is yours to take, you need to make your decision...that is the one that nobody else cannot make for you. If you want to be with God, accept Him into your heart. And if you do not want to be with God in eternity, you will not be there...so it is good news both sides. What side you will choose...??
Why I believe what I believe...Jesus was knocking my door. I did not think I needed Him, I thought I was fine. He persuaded. Then I realized that His plan is far more better to me that where I was heading for. I learned to never be so set on my own ways that I would not recognize what is the truth, even if it hurts.
So, you find your truth...I found it in Jesus through the Bible and the teachings of other fine christians. The church is the hospital for sinners, they are filled with christians...we are not perfect. We need Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life . (John 14:6 )

I believe what I believe because of what I have read and tried to research for myself to verify it wasn't a lie.
I have tried to reason. I have opened my heart and soul to the possiblity of God.
For all I have done, I find myself today a Roman Catholic.

I believe what I believe because it makes sense. The scientific community has done a good job in earning my respect. They set out to explain phenomena and when they can explain it they do (and show proof), and when they can't find an explanation they don't just make one up.
All religions are based on the writings of one book or the other, many parts of which have been scientifically refuted. I am far too logical to accept "you just have to have faith". I'm smart enough to realize that the success of humanity is a big deal, maybe even more than I can wholly comprehend, but that doesn't explain or prove the existence of a creator.
Any implication that society would be worse-off without a god-belief is ridiculous. I'm an atheist and live far more "virtuously" than any Christian I know, no kidding. In my opinion, if you treat ALL people with respect, and try not to impose your way of thinking on them, everything will be just fine.

Up until a few years ago ... I was atheist (Baptized & Confirmed; but laughing at religion)... I believed I could do what I wanted when I wanted to ... God does give me (& u) that option ...
But it's like owning a computer. The computer has a manuel that tells me the easiest way to run the computer and get the fruits of the computer with ease ... however, I was running my life like taking the computer and tossing it into a bathtub of water ... it didn't run too well ... Well, after frustration after frustration, I've realized that reading the manul and following simple instructions makes my life here on Earth easier. I have faith in the afterlife, but I'm still trying to repair a few of the mother boards before I have a better grasp of the heavens and hell.
In short, following God's way has made my life easier here and now, and I hope to expand into God's glory after I repair the damage I've caused from my past transgressions.

What do I know, I'm not expert, but I believe what I believe so I can make it through a day. When you have reached a limit, you fall back on those things, GOD, inner strength to get beyond that struggle.
The bottom line is, call it whatever you want, agnostic, christian - be a believer.

I take the bible literally, these are real people that will be in the kingdom with Christ.
I want to be there and to know all about them now and then. Matt.8:11;
Abraham
2083-25-Isaac-2108-60-
Jacob-2168-90-
Joseph-2258-110 dies-2368, end of Genesis,
2368-65-Job dies.
2433-80-Moses-2513 = covenant Heirs.
Trek 40-2553 Moses dies.
480-Solomon 1King 6:1; 3033 + 36 = 3069.
Judah kings-[390 years, 5 months =] 391st years to 3460 after Adam.
3460 is 606 years before christ is born.
Can any one prove this wrong?
Gen 12:4; Abraham is age 75[born year 2008 is 2 years after Noah dies],
Abraham in 2083, gets the covenant, is age 100[or 25 years later],
Isaac born Gen.21:5; in 2108 at age 180 years, dies.
Isaac age 60 when sons born. 25:24-26; Isaac died 2288.
Jacob 2168 + 130 Gen.47:9; Is in Rameses Egypt 2298[less 2083 = 215 in Canaan];
Jacob 2298 + 17 years he dies Gen.47:28; 2315 after Adam.
2298 [Joseph was age 40 of 110 = ] 70 = 2368 dies Gen.50:26; End of Genesis.
Exodus 7:7; 12:40,41; 430 years after covenant to Abraham in 2083 = 2513, Moses is
age 80 and was born 2433 or 65 years after Joseph dies. He is 4th generation after
Jacob = Gen.15:13,16; Exo.6:16-23,26;

Believing is essentially the answer. If you do not believe I feel for you. There is not much hope in the world if you do not try to find answers why GOD put you here!

i believe what i believe, because i have felt Jesus in my spirit.there were many times in my life when i was down, but Jesus had lifted me up.i tried, for the longest time to quit smoking, but i failed many times.then just like that, i prayed, and Jesus took it away.many sins like smoking, Jesus has taken away from me.i see all the changes Jesus has done in my life, and i realize, i could never have done it alone.funny, isn't it, that reading the Bible didn't create my belief, but asking Jesus into my heart and seeing the changes manifest from my prayers has strengthened my belief.reading his word, has helped me to understand him better.as for you, i cannot say, you are on a wrong path, but to say, that your path must be defined by your own direction in life.let his Spirit lead your car down that old forgotten road, and meet him half-way...
God Bless

Personal experience, reason, logic, science.
I just can't understand how God could possibly exist - there are too many contradictions in His behaviour to make it a viable option for me.

Because I would hate to believe that there was something, other than me, causing my life to go so wrong. I would hate to believe that God has a cruel sense of humor and that he plays us like puppets... therefore, I stopped believing.
"Life is Cruel and Unfair- God created Life- therefore, God is Cruel and Unfair"... and I just refuse to believe in it anymore.
