I did many horrible things in the past, before converting to Islam, I admit I did fornification, drank alcohol and gambled. Would God (or Allah) forgive my sins? They were so many, I can say thousands of sins.
NO ANTI-ISLAMIC answers please.

First of all brother, I would like to congratulate you for your decision to embrace islam. Its only Allah who guides to whom He wills and He has opened your heart.

secondly, Prophet Muhammad pbuh said that whosoever embraces islam all his previous sins will be forgiven at the moment. I hope you would have take the bath after embracing islam and i hope you would have said that shahada (testimony of faith) in front of a witness. its just a formality . if you havent done this.. just message me, i will take you to the islamic rooms where you can say it in front of witnesses.

The biggest sin in islam is Shirk i.e associating partners with God almighty. when you embrace islam , Allah forgives this sin, then obviously he forgives other sins as well.

This verse of quran is compatible with your situation.

"Say: "O my Servants who have excessively wronged their own souls, despair not of God's Mercy: for God forgives all sins for He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Turn to your Lord (for forgiveness) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that you shall not be helped." ( Quran 39:53-54.)

"But ask forgiveness of your Lord and turn unto Him (in repentance): for my Lord is indeed Full of mercy and loving-kindness." (Quran 11:90)

QURAN 15:49-50
49. Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;
50. And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty.

hope this answers.

congratulation once again.

Salam alaykum (means peace be on you)

EDIT

sister, i read your earlier question,,i saw the sincerity and purity in your heart for Allah swt. i hope you have said this shahada in your heart and in front of a witness

To become a Muslim, simply say the following words:

"Ash hadu alla ilaha illa Allah, wa ash hadu anna Mohammadar rasool Allah."

This means I testify and witness that there is no god worthy of being worshipped other than Allah and that Mohammad is his Messenger. You must say it and believe in it.

-----------------------------------
after this,, you have to take bath.
here are some authentic websites where you can learn about islam... please make sure to visit these websites and not others.. because there is many false propaganda against islam on internet.

Praises be to God the most High, the most Glorious for showing you the true path of this world. You are indeed blessed; this is a mercy from your Creator. Sister, I believe your past sins are all erased once you convert to Islam and that it is as if your soul is like that of a newborn baby - free of sins. Your life begins now I believe.

Ask an imam/scholar to be sure what God tells us about those who revert to Islam but I have heard this many times.

salamo alikoum :)
am so so so so happy for you sister :D welcom to Islam :)

converting to Islam is enough to delete all of your previous sins BUT you should regret these sins. and of course Allah will forgive you :)

if you do any other sins after you convert and you want to repent:

Feeling bad about anything wrong you did and deciding to abandon it for the sake of ALLAH is the first step to repentance. You must know that ALLAH forgives ANY sin:

53. Say: "O ‘Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh: verily, Allâh forgives all sins. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

true repentance must fulfill three conditions to be accepted by ALLAH:

a- stop doing the sin
b-regret what you have done
c-take a firm decision not to do it again.

and yeah Allah will forgive All of your sins with no exception.

ALLAH Almighty will accept your repentance. ALLAH has also promised those who repent to convert all their bad deeds into good deeds.

please contact me if you have any further questions

May Allah bless you and protect you

amen

pl come out of islam. otherwise u will go to hell as per the Bible.

read John 3:36

the allah of the quran is a deceiver, he deceived the Jews at the time of Jesus' crucifixion.
He deceives muslims and sends them to hell, acc to quran.
other lies: Jesus did not die on the cross
in paradise muslims will have wine and virgins.

Md was cheated by satan who appeared as an angel of light.
Since Jesus provides salvation for all who follow Him, there is no need of islam or quran.

Before I answer your question let me just remind you of something you don't know!. Although I am Christ follower, but in Islam Christ is considered a Muslim, and therefore I am a follower of what Islam consider a Muslim. Therefore and according to your statement I can now answer your question.

Too bad, none of your old sins will ever be forgiven. Furthermore, none of your present and future sins will be forgiven on account of rejecting Christ who offered his body as a sacrifice to all mankind sins, and therefore He has redeemed us and has just-fully paid for Adam's(All human)sins on the cross.

Without that blood of Christ shed and His death on the cross on your behalf, there is no forgiveness. For the wages of sin is death. So you will die because of your sins. In Christ however, He paid for your penalty and your sins and offered himself as a sacrifice before God so that you may live and be justified on your evil deeds before Almighty God. How can you reject a great salvation as such given to you for free? How can you justify your sins before God when you come to judgment? God is Just and cannot forgive you without paying for your sins. If He does, then He is unjust and that is not Him. But with Christ, He accept you for what Christ did for you-He took your sins on the cross and died on your behalf so that you are without sins and may live in God's kingdom forever. Don't be mislead. Don't sell your soul!

ask allah for forgiveness. say your prayers daily, go to mosque, and really devote yourself to allah and islam. the best thing to do is contact an imam from a mosque, and speak with him. he will give you all the answers to questions you may have.
