What can I do? Also is it true if you put protein in your hair it will help w/split ends?

You need to switch to a clarifying shampoo. If you use a conditioner, just condition every other shampoo. Also try to find a conditioner that is less concentrated. Split ends may appear less split with the protein treatment, but the only way to prevent them is frequent haircuts/trims and not using styling appliances very often.

If you put a little bit of baby powder on your hair and brush it through it will absorb the excess oil.

The protein will help the split ends but perhaps that's what is making your hair greasy. A hot oil treatment is great for split ends.

They make a powder that you can put in your hair to extend the days between washing. I think you put it in and then brush your hair. Sorry, don't know what the brand name is.

after your hair is dry put baby powder on your brush and brush it throught your hair

try baby powder on the roots, not too much or you'll look grey...lol

well use hydrating shampoo it hydrates your hair roots so they are not so oily
