Okay, let me set something straight. I do believe that there is a higher being. I want to see what people say when I ask them to prove it.

There is no physical evidence.
Imagine this; the world tips on it's axis and most of our society disappears, some fanatic finds a copy of the Lord of the Rings and preaches it as the true written word of god. 2000 years later and we have a world worshipping Gandalf as a holy profit, searching for Elves and awaiting the return of the true king of kings - Aragorn. Oh yes and dreading the return of the dark lord.

Last time it just happened to be a story book called the bible.
How does the bible constitute proof? Likewise how does the existance of life on earth prove it either?
Show me the ten commandments cut in stone and let them be scientifically analysed and proved to be cut by a power not of this earth and I might start to believe in god or aliens. Oddly though such an important guide from god has been lost - how careless!

A child coming to life. What makes it alive? (same goes for animals and trees)
The magic of the brain. Nothing human has ever made a computer with nearly the complex workings.

That we naturally always strive for answers. Someone who truly didn't accept God would not waste there time on this kind of web-site.
You see nature every day that is the product of the manufacturer we call God.
When you buy a product in the store the product is the proof that a maker of that product exists. This universe is a product too, and just like the product in the store has a function and a use, so do YOU.

First of all, you have to believe, and accept him into your heart. If you don't believe, it's like turning your back on him.

Your prayers are answered within his time, you just have to believe and have patience. Pray for Wisdom.

Believe me, He's real...just because you cannot see him doesn't mean he does not exist.

Things happen once you start believing, you began to look at things in a different way. Discern things that are of this world.

Physical Evidence: my Car...I did not think I could qualify for anything, everything worked out as far as color, style, price, payment, and cannot forget...safety " Brand new" I have been praying for a new vehicle eventually. I went in and "looked around, test drove" The whole experience was a blessing, I was only there for about and hour and drove off in my new vehicle.

2 friends were cured from cancer. The power of prayer is strong.
Just believe.

I can go on an on. Last but not least, he's your comforter when you think nobody cares, just cast your cares upon him, he will fight your battles. "Faith without works is dead" Believe.

um, think about what you just said. There's so much proof out there, you must of had to climb over it to reach your computer. wake up. please. Proof, huh? let's start with Jesus: no historian in his right mind would deny his existence. He is documented by all of the major historians of the time... Josephus, for ex. Geez, even other religions admit he existed. James the brother of Jesus, (who incidentily wrote the book of James), was murdered because of his faith in Christianity. Again, a well documented fact. The 'holy books' are reliable, as well. If u read a document about your life, you could tell me if it was true, right? even if you couldn't find the author. Some parts of the books of the Bible have been around as early as 2 years after Jesus' death. There were specific people and places and events mentioned that other people could have read back then and known whether or not it heappened, because they lived thru it. They agreed with it, so what's you're holdup?

I believe that everything in the Bible that looks impossible (including GOD) is actually a metaphoric representation of something possible but equally astonishing.

I'm sure that after you accept this and walk away from the notion that GOD is like Q on Star Trek everything will start to make a little more sense.

Prove that God can't exist. But you can't prove that either.
Quantium Physics mentions dimensions beyond ours and that our very laws of physics could be completely gone. Perhaps God is a being of a higher dimention.

I believe that there CANNOT be tangible, physical proof of God's existance, simply because the greatest lesson we are to learn here is FAITH...something that would not be possible if we had irrefutable proof of the existance of a higher power.
