Everyone hated new coke when it came out, because it used high fructose corn syrup intstead of real sugar.

Joke's on us though, the "Classic" formula we drink today is the same damn thing.

Pepsi is better, and they tried New Coke and a lot of the coke drinkers threw a fit and wanted the way coke was back.... New Coke actually tasted more like Pepsi. You can still get it on ebay and stuff but it's probably old as hell.

It depends which country you are in. They will use different formular since different people have different tastes abroad. In the U.S. I like Pepsi rather than Coke. In Finland I prefer Coke (it's sweeter).

I never heard of the new coke, but I don't know if anyone noticed that some of the lemon lime products have been disapearing off the shelves since last year. And whatever happened to Josta? I used to love that stuff!

Coca-Cola.

There was such an outcry when Coca-cola tried to change their formulation, that they labelled it "New Coke" and re-branded the old stuff as "Coca-cola Classic". Then they looked at their number and realized that they were the only ones wanting to change, so they stopped making it.

NEW COKE blew ***, so they stopped making it within MONTHS of creation. As for the coke v. pepsi issue, obviously coke. Coke is classic (hence, coca-cola classic). New coke went the way of Pepsi Crystal (for you young'ins!).
