Christians (and such) confuse me for the most part, they speak like Atheists force the belief that God isn't real down other people's throats. Yet, do Atheists have huge enormous followings which dictate who is and isn't going to hell for sins against their God. I have never gotten on one of these questions and called someone a "God Lover" out of spite. Nor have I spouted hatred about how most don't accept people being gay. AND TRY TO FIX IT, you can't fix gay. That is like trying to fix a black man's skin so that he is white. It's wrong... I have been to many churches in my day, odd for me being an Atheist ain't it? Well, I find religion rather interesting and this is all religions not just a chosen few.

Free will is the ultimate gift from God, if I am using it wrongly... Let him send me to hell. I would hate to live up in some clouds anyhow. lol

God has given us free will and therefore it is upto the individual whichever path they want to choose.

God has also asked his followers to try and persuade others along the same path whenever possible.

There is always room for meaningful discussion but not for senseless accusations and counter accusations which go around. None of has proof of anything - our knowledge is increasing everyday and there are many things yet to be discovered and many theories yet to be proved right/wrong. Even religious people are hoping that what they have read has been understood properly and there is no definite proof until they die or get resurrected. Each side thinks they have compelling enough evidence for their beliefs.

The Hindu scriptures instruct us to be like the bee which moves from flower to flower collecting nectar from wherever it is available.

Don't let us be like fools who would throw away a gold bar simply because it was found amongst a rubbish heap.

As has been proved time and again a lot is accomplished through dialogue rather than shouting angry words or fighting.

It's not a matter of enforcement. However, Christians are commanded to spread the gospel throughout the entire world. We are also to give a good defense of the gospel as well. It's through these two things that I think we have so much activity on this site among other places.

We are not forcing you to do anything, but just like we go through life with the world telling us how we're crazy or whatnot, we tell the world what we believe.

To reverse it makes more sense. That is what is happening in the United States. The Bible, which is a book, is banned from schools. The true history of our foundation upon Judeo-Christian ideas can not even be discussed. Historical accounts are being changed in history books to become 'politically correct' not correct. To fear the very religion, which brought forth the idea that rights come from God, and should not come from man..is ignorant. God never changes, but man is sooo fickle.

The religious already do, and have done so for centuries.

Atheism is just starting to make the papers these days, though, because the truth is finally coming out, and people aren't so afraid of being "shunned" anymore. The latest polls show that 19% of Americans are atheist/agnostic. Personally, I think it's more like 50%, but most people are still afraid to say so out loud...

No to both questions. I don't condone any type of "forcing" any religion or philosophy or Path upon the others. I consider evangelizing a form of "passive force".

Why? Religion, spirituality or personal philosophy is a private choice to be made by the individual. It has nothing to do with what is right or wrong as esteemed by the majority---it has everything to do with how the individual already feels and believes.

That would be a terrible waste of their time with me. And as for the reverse question, I don't try to enforce my ideas on anyone. I just give my opinion, which is different.

well, for you religious people out there most reliogions teach that only god is pure enough to judge...(let he who is without sin cast the first stone)....however most of the (not all) christians are unbelievably hypocritical about judgement they LOVE to point the finger.they have even gone so far as to say if you dont have their beliefs and accept jesus into your lives you WILL go to hell..well what about the jews??(gods chosen people) why would they go to hell???they have pretty close to the same beliefs up untill jesus and they believe he existed just not as "the son of god" how can someone go to hell just because they believe different from you especially when the christians teach that supposedly jesus died for every sin that every person WILL ever commit and therefore you are already forgiven for any wrong thing you may do and then contradictraly they teach that you must have remorse or go to confession and you will automatically be forgiven...............so they dont even know what theyre talking about and cannot get things straight...therefore they are definately not the people to listen to...most importantly a large percentage of religions teach a basic of "love thy neighbor", "do what you will as long as you harm none" so that alone forbiddes pressing yourself in any manor upon another person........for those of you who believe nothing is out there there is still a basic fact that everyone deserves respect and that free will (at least in our thoughts) is what makes us great as individuals. so NO never (as fun and healthy as debating and/or absorbing information can be as long as you can leave it at that) push your personal beliefs on ANYONE......

I don't know what enforcing a religion upon someone is. What I understand is someone trying to show a path that he/she has understood, choice is upon you to accept or not accept it.

All religions in real sense have got reduced to mere religion which may be restricted to recitation, fundamentalism, rituals ...... whereas true religion were supposed to be spiritual meaning awakening of spirit within oneself and through it integrating with the divine .... And yes this can be done, it can be proved and you can feel it too....

But one cannot argue with anyone who has not seen this or experienced it and does not know how to achieve it...

The atheists constantly try to force their religion on the religious. Religious people(for the most part) don't prance around and tell you you're going to hell yet atheists constantly call religious people idiots and mock their religion.
