I download songs from Limewire, and there are some MP3's that iTunes will not play - won't accept them into my library, and therefore I can't get them onto the iPod. Why is this? I have tried converting them to WMA and back to MP3, and this worked on 1 out of 6.

Here's the Limewire User guide pages:

It provides an option where you have Limewire automatically send your files to iTunes so they will automatically upload to the iPod when you plug it in.

itunes uses aac format to play songs. if you have a song in wma format, it will not work because it is discouraging copyrighting because that is windows software. you could probably try another mp3 source, i use ares and all songs that are not in wma format transfer over.
