You can't - Teens are hard headed, know it alls.
If you really want to stop her, tell her mom.
She CAN get an STD. She CAN also get Pregnant.
She should wait until marriage b/c this guy is going to probably dump her within the year. Then she's gonna feel real crappy when he breaks up with her and she's given it up to him.
My bet is that he'll screw her and then dump her immediately after. He'll probably pull the whole not-returinging-her-phone-calls ordeal.
You might want to tell Your Mom about this and have her call your friends Mom. Your mom will tell you what to do. I think you should talk to your mom about this b/c she knows your friend better than I do.

No amount of convincing is going to change your friend's mind-especially if it's already made up....however, you could try telling her "horror stories" ...like: The very first time you have sex you could get pregnant-are you ready to be a mother??? or...since this 17 year old has already "been around the block" he no doubt ALREADY has an STD...so EVERY girl he has slept with thus far, she is "sleeping with" too! Also , the first time should be special and it should MEAN SOMETHING! She is only a lay to him...does she want this to be her memory of her first time? Also the 17 year old guy is fricken PATHETIC to need a 13 year old! Why isn't he going out with girls his OWN age? Why? I'll tell you why! Because he's a dog and a loser and girls his own age don't want nothin to do with him! That's why! Good luck! These are only extra ideas because I know you don't want to tell her parents, and chances are that you won't (even though that is the surefire way) Just wanted to give you some alternatives...

Sounds like she is very naive. She needs to wake and realize that these things are real. It may sound all good to her b/c he has probably told her that she is the only one for him and that he loves her. She is too blind to see that all he wants to do is have sex. Let her know that you are trying to look out for her rep, her health, and that you only want what is best for her. Sex is something that comes wit consequences, and no matter how cute you are or how many people like you, that will not stop you from getting pregnant or catching something. She should learn from all the other girls just like her who has had their life changed dramatically! All you can do is try and if you don't get through to her, when it all comes crashing down on her, he is gone, she is pregnant or has an std then she can never say that you didn't try to help. DO NOT GIVE UP!

Ok first of all EWWWWW why is she going out with a 17 year old AHHHH! That is just sick and WRONG!
Well if here mom doesn't already know about this 17 year old dude then tell her! She might think you are betraying her but really you are protecting her. This guy is obviously trying to take advantage of her!
If her mom does know that he is 17 tell her mom that they are planning on having sex and the mom will intervene. And then the guy will probably break up with the girl because he won't want to deal with her getting in trouble like that.
He sounds like a loser who can't get any girls his own age!

Find out if your state has a statutory rape law on the books and call the authorities. Some states do not allow sex with children as young as 13 and it can be a crime. If she "loves" this guy (unlikely, but she may think she does) then she wouldn't want him to go to jail. However, in reality you can't prevent anyone from having sex if they are bound and determined to have sex.
You need to come up with legitimate reasons why you don't want her to engage in the act. The fact that she's 13 weighs heavily against your success as 13 year old girls tend to be less likely to engage their reasoning abilities. You could try to tell her parents and that may solve your problem, as her parents may prevent them from seeing each other.

If you really want to help this girl out.Why dont you talk to her parents?Tell them that you are worried about your friend and that she has told you that she is going to have sex with her boyfriend.I hope she sees that there are all kids of different stds that she could get or even get pregnant. What would she do then?Hide it and not say anything.Seems you are a good friend to worry about your friend.Just bring it up to her parents and hope for the best that she sees that she should wait until she is much older. There are more important things for her to worry about then having sex with some guy that is 17 years old.I wish you the best.

Scare tactics like AIDS, "..I will tell your mom...." etc. won't work.
She will rebel. From school sex education, she already knows all about the dangers of unprotected sex. It is very real and she is well aware.
But, she is your good friend and she is telling you this so that she is crying out to you to stop her.
So, here is what you do. Suggest you both go out of town. Take her out. Tell her parents what you are doing. She is way too young to realize what she is doing. And, the boy is way too young as well. This is puppy love, if there is one between them.
It is more of curiosity and experimentation. Talk to her at length about the various experiences others had but do not scare her. That is not what she wants. She wants guidance from you.
PS: you did not say how old you are...? Can you talk to her in a mature fashion? From your question, I gather you have mature thinking.
Good luck.

she might end up getting pregnant and that boy not suppose to be having sex with a 13 yr old girl in the first place tell her that you're looking out for her best interest cause she's not ready for that type of relationship and tell her that the only reason why the boy is sticking around cause he wants to get into her pants and that he will leave when he gets what he wants talk to her in a timely fashion make her understand wait until she can handle this type of situation before it gets to a point that she can't handle

show her the movie help my thirteen your old baby is having a baby Kristen Dunst comes out in that movie tell her to wait tell her that it only takes one time to get pregnant and to get an std and there is no turning back after that. AIDS does not discriminate and its not detectable just by knowing the person physically. I know its hard because she is your best friend but if it comes to the point where she could ruin her life tell her your going to tell her mom and that you rather lose her friendship than for her to ruin her life and probably some one elses and if she still doesn't listen tell her to play it safe and use protection

wow she's young.
sadly no matter what you tell her she's going to do what she wants. no matter what you say in the end it's her choice. she is young ...
she's gonna make mistakesand as a friend all you can do is help her up when she falls.
as for you, don't be a fool like she is. i lost my virginity wheni was 15 and looking back i think i was TOO young. i can't even imagine how a 13yr old will handle it. it's emotionally devestating. too many things to deal with after - wondering if u have an STD, wondering if u could ne pregnant.
let her fall, then pick her up

She will do what she wants to do, no matter what you say. Show her the consequences of having sex at such a young age. Go on the internet and show her the results of STDs. Take her to a day care facilities and let her see what responsibilities come from having a child. Stretch marks.
