get the book as it's a B..... Basically taking the fan out along with the radiator and condensor at the same time..plus we ain't telling you about having to put it on 2 jack stands at least a few feet off the ground cause everything comes out the bottom?
Get the book for the step by step.. it's easier, either that are play the couple of hundred to a shop who can do the job correctly including recovering the freon

O.K I just did this in a similar car and all of you people who say its hard it is really not if you take your time label your hardware and go slow.
ok step one buy the haynes or any other repair manual for your car they are step by step and because every car is different it strongly helps but is not needed.
2 remove all the top stuff housing for the fan radiator and airbag sensor bracket mark and label screws if you dont not too big of a deal here but ideally its a good habit for a mechanic to get into.
3 remove there are probably four machine bolts holding your fan to your radiator reach in pull al four out and diconnect the fan in one or two spots ez disconnect cables
4 your radiator is connected to the ac intercooler look for brackets on where this is attached it is atached in four different places top right left bottom left right
5 Go under pull the out let to the radiator of the cooling of the engine block then another one at top you need to remove hose clamps with slip joint goose neck pliers then pull on the hose to remove it some hoses are stubborn and probably in your case so side to side movement helps if that dont work slip in a screwdriver and spray wd-40 in there radiator ends are fragile but it might not matter if your putting a new one in.
6. now transmission on the sides these require a special tool that you get from a auto parts suplier store they go in need some force then pull them out one in top and bottom.
7. pull out radiator
8. slip in new one
9 attach all hoses cables connect radiator to transmission intercooler drop in fan connect also connect wires put impact sensor bar back on and tighten everything transmission lines just snap in place instalation is a lot easier than removal
hope this helps good luck to you also have a good set of sockets wrenches and screwdrivers are all basics you should need

Along with the step by step instructions from what other people are suggesting, have a good set of tools around, and a friend to help.

Chilton manual or a Haynes manual are the best in the business. You can pick one up at any car parts store- Pep boys, Autozone, Advance, etc.
Most people prefer Chiltons, but I've never had a problem with Haynes.

The radiator comes out the bottom with the a/c condensor.
The car has to be on a lift to do it.
You might be able to take it off without the condensor, but you will fight to do it. The labor guide gives 6 hrs. to do it.

a mechanic friend and I replaced my '95 taurus wagon radiator at his shop/home. he had lots of good tools and experience but it was still a very difficult task and took us both to manage - me above and him down below. we had power tools but it was still very HARD to do. if i ever have to do it again and can't get some help, i'll just buy a radiator and give it to a mechanic to put in.
