we have a large family and i love going..
it is held every year in october...
that's when the weather is getting slightly cooler here in texas
for the other side of the family.. .. it is very small and a sitdown dinner could be considered a family reunion, so they don't have an actual "reunion"

My husbands family is having a family reunion this July. We have been married for 12 yrs and this is the first. My family had family reunions when I was younger, most every summer. I loved hanging out with family that I rarely got to see. Fun!

We used to have them when I first met my husband; they were always on his side of the family. There was one family reunion I recall on my own side of the family when my grandparents celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary and when I finally graduated from all my degrees at university. I enjoyed them a lot; I miss going to them. It does seem like everybody is in their own world nowadays and even just the small get togethers we sometimes have for Father's Day or Christmas, there is always somebody that decides at the last minute not to go.

Ya. Both sides of my family does family reunions. It's ok. Some r fun because they have like games and stuff to do rather than just eating and talking.

Well, we don't call it a reunion perse, if there are family parties, everyone gets invited...sometimes even people from other parts of the country, and if they come, they come, if not, oh well. Yeah, I generally like going, but it sucks when I have to behave myself around the grown-ups, they don't accept my weirdness.

My family has NEVER had a family reunion. I think it would be pretty cool to go to one becuase then you get to see your family that you haven't sen in a while.

My family has them every other year. I dont go becasue the family does nothing that i like doing and what other families do like go to parks, have competintions and all that other good stuff. And i hate the fact that they are always in South Carolina and we live in NJ.

We have them..I love it, we usually do a huge potluck, play games. we also have an auction of homemade things to pay for next years reunion

Mine does. I used to like going, until I realized that it's all about seeing which branch of the tree can act like their life is the best. They're so stressful, I try to get out of them if I can.
