I was thinking about donating my eggs to women that can't have children and I was told that if their husband's sperm united with that egg then there would be MY child along with it being his as well. I want to do it for the sake of women that can't bear children and also because I will be getting a check for $5,000. So, I just wanna know what women think about it (women that can have kids and women that can't have kids).

I was going to do it but I didnt have medical insurance at the time and they changed their policy to only use insured donors in case something happened during the process.
It's a lot to go through, the donation process. Im sure they explained that to you though.
I dont think there's anything wrong with donating your eggs. If I couldnt have children and a donated egg would let me give birth to a child, I would do it!
But yes, you will have a child out there that is biologically yours. That is something you have to consider quite a bit.

I think that if you're up to it, it is an amazing gift to give a woman who cannot have a child using her own eggs. I think that if I were to consider donating eggs I would only want them to go to a woman who is 45 or younger.

It is genetically your child. One day the child may need to find it's genetic roots, illness etc.
This would be your GENETIC child, could you distance yourself from the face that people are raising your DNA?
It is an amazing thing to do, this will change the lives of loving people, but only if you can keep to your convictions.

In my opinion, it is an incredible thing to do. You're giving someone the chance to have their own child and give birth that may have not been able to. It wouldn't be yours though because it left your body and grows in the other females. I think it's INCREDIBLE!
