Oh lordy, I thought I was alone. There is NO evidence of any connection between Iraq and 9/11.
Jesus some of these people are dumb.

I'm with Irish Girl. You people need to reset your brains - the price of oil and gas seems to have scrambled what few some of you have. Prove that there is any connection between oil and the reason the US is in Iraq. I have found none yet.
The real reason may be exactly what has been given in the events leading up to the invasion. You people need to realize that what you hear on Fox, MSNBC, CBS, and all the rest of those 'news' channels sometimes is so colored by the reporters bias that you need to use your brain to pick out what is true.
No --- I am not saying that they may do this intentionally. You need to listen to the words they use, the tones they use in their voice, their body language, etc., to realize the difference - if you can. Many times they do not even realize what they are doing - you have to be smart enough to see the difference. Well, enough of that rant.
Re: Saddam and Osama and9-11.
Do we have any proof that they did or did not meet? Would they have allowed the world to know if they did? The asence of proof does not mean it didn't happen.
Saddam did not support terrorism you say. I seem to remember something about Iraq giving money to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers in Israel. Isn't that supporting terriorism? Who else and what else did he fund that we do not know about?

Because they either don't listen to their own media or too biased or stupid to believe it. Look at all the Saudi Arabia links with terrorist and terrorist activities. Why hasn't the us invaded Saudi?
Even if Iraq did have some tenuous links to the 9-11 bombings, it was not at Iraqi government level and there were no WMDs found. So, I wonder, what could possibly have been the reason for the invasion? It's a three letter word, an anagram of Oli and it starts with O and ends in L plus it gives a lame duck president right wing kudos in his middle american creationist bible belt heartland.

Not to embarass you but you are wrong, the Iraqi government supports and sponsors terrorists, Hussein and bin Laden met weeks before 9/11 and although there are no pics of them shaking hands to seal the deal its seems more than a little odd that Hussein's heads of security and generals met with bin Laden's and there was nothing being discussed except the price of oil. Hussein and bin Laden and other terrorists have long wanted the demise of westerners, why because democracy breeds free thinking and free thinking breeds a people hard to control. If you believe 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. then you are for a rude awakening.

Among Saddam Hussein, his vice, and what have you, who can you prove us that bear a hand in 9/11? Iraqis are not responsible for 9/11. None among the hijackers was from Iraq. So why all these.

Like it or not, terrorism IS the reason we invaded Iraq. It wasn't the people we were after, it was their terrorist-harboring government.
Oil may be part of the reason, but it wasn't the main cause like some people seem to think.

lol...Some people...
Saddam and AQ never met. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. But ShrubCo put a hell of a spin on it. 15 of teh 19 hijackers were Saudi's.
Idiots....
