There are plenty of books available for young girls upon entering the adolescent years. I am sure there is one you can pick up, read through yourself, & bring to your niece. You can introduce the book & tell her what the subject matter is. You can then tell her you read the book already. If she seems curious I would continue talking about sharing her body with a man. If she seems shy I would tell her to read the book & let her know you will be back to ask her about it. Of course, mom should be there too. There are some wise words she may want to impart to her daughter about love accompanying sex. Good luck.

Doesn't sound like you should be telling her anything.
And why would your aunt want you to tell her? Is she too chicken to do it herself?
Frankly, if she's older than 9 she probably already knows as much as you do. Hell, I knew what sex was and how you did it in the 3rd grade. I just didn't have sex until I was married.
If you don't know what to tell her, and her mother insists that you be the one to educate her about sex, then look up something like "How to explain sex to a XX year old" in search. Then print off something you find and give it to her.

tell her mom u cant do it.. she should be the one to tell her daughter about sex not u. its not a good thing comeing from another person. cause a child can sometimes take it the wrong way. her mother should explane sex to her. and enforce that abstanance is the best way to go till your married... cause there are alots of conciquences that she is not ready for such as pregnancy and STDs

Not so hard to do. Explane the basics then tell her if hes too big he can rip her apart and she will have to go to the hospital. Then if she's under 18 they call your mom and dad to come get you. THis is what my mom told me and it worked I was 18 when I started! I knew she was probley lying, but I wasn't going to risk it.

Well, it's a good thing her mother isn't asking you to teach her spelling or grammar.
Tell her some of the things that they mention here, on the Wikipedia definition of Sex Education.

First off it's spelled N-i-e-c-e, S-c-h-o-o-l, K-n-o-w
Why can't her mother talk to her, why would she intrust such an important conversation to someone else who could easily fill the kids head with all the wrong things

maybe you the mother should be homeschooled if she thinks that you should teach her about sex. What is she supposed to do, watch you get it on w/ some guy?
You do realize that there is 'spell check'? Learn to use it.

It's niece... and I would tell her mom that it is not your place to talk to her about that. It is the mother's job to do so... not an aunts!

ask your niece what she knows already. then once the conversation starts, the rest should come naturally for you.
