people like to talk about "the big picture".
Here's a secret: the "big picture"...is actually a small picture.
In a mirror.
Instead of asking if the world can get any better, ask if you can make it better, and what you're willing to do to accomplish that.
Instead of focusing on how rotten people do rotten things, and feeling like the world is so big and you have no control over anything, focus on what you can control. And that's you. Your actions. Your reactions. If you're going to be a rotten person and do terrible things, than no, it won't. But if you want to see a better world, it has to start with you- REGARDLESS of what anyone or everyone else does. Do you give in to temptation, or do you stand up for what's right? There's the key to your better world.
and i'll let you in on another secret: I'm already working on the better world from my end. Maybe we'll meet in the middle?

No it is going to get a whole lot worse than it is now so bad that man has never experienced
anything like it. When the Prince of Peace returns to set up the Millennial Reign then we will
experience true peace and live life the way God
intended it to be lived. That is why Jesus came so you and me could be Born Again and miss
the WRATH TO COME. Please believe what Jesus has done to save you before its to late.
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned

I will just say this. The Lord showed me that I needed to fast for twenty days without food. At the end of that twenty days I had a dream. This is my dream. I was inside of a church building. I walked outside and I started walking down the street and I was saying, "where is the prostitute, where is the prostitute?". I could not find this prostitute, so I started to walk back towards the church. About halfway there, I saw another church with people coming out of it. The church people who were coming out looked as if they did not have a care in the world. However, there was something in the background that I could not see. When I passed the congregation, I saw these huge giant tornadoes coming. Also, I saw smaller tornadoes in the middle of the sky with what looked like clouds underneath them. When I saw this I ran into the church and upstairs. When I got upstairs I saw a door open. One of the smaller tornadoes tried to come in through the door, but I closed it quickly. I then fell on my face praying, turning the lights on and off. Then the dream ended. This dream is in reference to terrible events and destruction that is about to come. Tornadoes symbolize destruction. The Lord is also saying that there are some in the body of Christ who are not taking heed to His warnings and will be caught by this destruction. The world is about to change like never before.

That's a very big challenge. Instead of trying to improve the world, we all could just try to make ourselves better, then our families, then our town, city, county, state, nation -- you get the idea. If everyone in the world started out this way, we'd all meet halfway, and the the world would be a better place. The problem is that everyone thinks they are okay, and are hoppin-hot to change everyone else in the world to be like them.

Unfortunately the world will not get better. For after religious beliefs come ideological ones. The basis on how governments should be run will also continue to cripple us. Even if all religions where to vanish, we would still be faced by Dictatorships, Socialism, Capatilism, Facism, and Communism. As long as there are 2 people, they will have conflicting views and violence will continue.

The world will get better and worse at the same time. As we approach the second coming of Jesus Christ, the faithful will become stronger. But Satan will grow more desperate and create greater temptations for mankind to fall into.

Once we grow out of believing in ficticious characters, the world will be 1000X better! Right now, religion is being used as an excuse to kill other people. Quite the opposite reaction that is desired from religion, but true never-the-less.

no it will just get worse thats what the bible says at 2 Tim 3:1-7 "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth. yes its getting worse.
