It seems that the smaller percentage of people are more willing to put forth their opinions and make them law, but the majority of people who have an opinion on a subject get frustrated but don't do or say anything.

Yes, this is one of those instances where the MINORITY has voiced their opinion loudly and then filibustered any measures ont he subject.

The majority doesn't feel it needs to organize since we (supposedly) elected representatives to represent our wants, desires, and needs. Sadly, the majority doesn't do that for us anymore....

Everyone asks the same question: it always seems like your side is out-voted by a small minority. Liberals complain that most media voices are now conservative and, of course, most of the 535 people in congress and 100 or so in the White House and Cabinet are conservatives. This small minority seems to make a lot of decisions and sway a lot of opinion for this country.

There isn't alot of outward action from conservatives, because they are in general more reserved people. Besides, we all have jobs, and can't spend all of our time carrying around a sign downtown....
Yes, I realize I am on this site in the middle of the day...but I'm at work! Don't tell my boss.....

Well.... when one is on the losing side...there is a tendency to complain more.
