Nah, he'll be fine. Usually chicks don't go for the guys they truly want and lead their current boyfriend on. If you know you want to get with this other dude, let your current guy go so he can get humpy with some other chick. You're being very selfish by holding onto something you obviously don't want.

well before you do anything make sure that this other guy likes you, you dont want to loso somoene special and not have anyone else to go to!!! then talk to your boyfriend and see how things work out!! also, this may soun weird but make a list like a pro and con list of each guy and see who really means more to you!!
