blood blister, the size of my thumb on my big toe.

The best thing to do is provide some extra padding to prevent anything from rubbing on it, and NOT to pop it. Right now the layer of skin over the blister is a natural barrier to infection. And the skin underneath is very sensitive. It will hurt quite a bit if the overlying skin is removed.

A product called "moleskin" by Dr. Scholl's (and other companies) is a great way to protect blisters. You can buy it at your local drugstore or here:

Eventually when the skin underneath is healthy, the blister will open up on its own.

Good Luck

Leave it ALONE!!! If it pops the infection threat is huge when it comes to feet. If it should happen to pop wash with warm soapy water then use hydrogen peroxide to cleen it out. Keep it CLEAN and DRY . avoid sweaty sneakers or shoes until it heals over! My friends son did the wrong thing and wore sneakers and kept it dirty ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks on IV antibiotics!

I would pucture it with a needle that has been sterilized with bleach. I would squeeze out the blood, put some iodine on it, cover it for one day with a band-aid. Good luck !

leave it alone. it'll clear itself up. Or if you have to pop it, but you'll have to peel ALL the covering skin away and disinfect it to keep it from getting infected. and that will hurt like holy freaking hell.

Just leave it alone.

get a pin heat it up, sterilize it and then poke it, otherwise the body will just reabsorb it in no time, I say about one week if you dont put any pressure on it, it will eventually dissappear.
