This verse isn't so much saying something about you (that you already know anyway - your conscience tells you when your thoughts or actions aren't 100% pure and right), as it is saying something about Allah, or God. Both Islam and Judeo-Christianity, the 3 monotheistic religions, teach that God is omniscient: He knows everything about everything there is to know, including the thoughts of every single living person.
Not only does He know your thoughts, He judges them as right or wrong, and you can learn what He says is right or wrong in the Bible, or if you prefer, the Koran (which is a less reliable source, scientifically, as well as religiously, which is a secret the Muslim world suppresses both with words and with violence).
So don't worry so much about what He thinks of your thoughts or even your actions. Instead, worry about what you believe about Him, and does that belief impact your thoughts and actions, or is it nearly meaningless.

God rewards us based on our intentions(What in our minds and hearts). Your intentions are not known except by you and only by God.
If your intentions are good and your actions (The resultant of your intention) are good, you will be rewarded by people and by God.
If your intentions are good, but your actions went wrong (because you do not know what is the right to do or by mistake), people would judge only what they see, but God will forgive you.
If your intention is bad and did not result in bad action, they people will not know and God will not punish you.
Based on the above formula, you can calibrate your intentions and learn its reward,
In Hadith, There was an emotionally troubled man who felt that no good he ever done. So prior to his death, he called on his sons and told them "When I die, turn my body into ashes by fire and through my ash away. They followed what the father said.
On Judjement day, God asked him"why did you do that". He replied (and you reply the truth and only the truth this day), because I was afraid of your punishment. So God wiped his sins and forgave him.

hmmmm....well if you read lahowlawalaquwatta illabillhilalliyilazeem(not too sure on the meaning sorry) everytime a bad thought comes to you i am sure it will go away insha allah.
I dont think there is any harm in thinking about sex or other thoughts, as long as you dont have an intention of acting them out.

it's the intention that counts if u give charity and do it to show off to other people and not to please God then that good deed will be worth nothing. every deed is wheighed by the intention that you have behind it. the quran has been in its original form since its been revealed and is the word of God

Read the truth it's in the BIBLE. Your thoughts are making you a sinner. God knows all our thoughts and feelings, everything were going to say before we say it. God speaks of many false books and religions before he comes and your reading one now.
