I am sure that you have heard of the scripture,
"For all sin and fall short of the glory of God"
Being saved has only one requirement, that is that one believe that Christ died as an atonement for our sins. All sin not just some sin.
NO sin is greater than any other sin. A lie is a sin, cheating is a sin, wearing polyester clothing and cotton clothing is a sin (according to leviticus). All sin is equal because no sin can be looked upon by God because of his purity and holiness. All sin is equally dark because it causes a seperation from God.
Becareful trying to make a judgement call you have no authority to make, only God knows who truely believes in his son.
The bottom line is being Gay will not stop anyone from being saved, no more than a liar can not be saved. The common denominator is Christ.
John 3:16 states "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that EVERYONE who believes in him will not perish, but have ever lasting life.
No where does that scripture say not to Gays.
Further more, any one should be careful about judging, for by the same measurement which you judge others so shall you be judged.
Blessings,

I think it's ignorant of you to think that they can simply stop being gay by controlling their thoughts. I'm not gay but I know people who are, and I can safely say that it's not that easy. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." If you're a true and compassionate Christian (as all Christians should be), you should know that.
You say being gay is a state of mind. Well being depressed is a state of mind. Happiness is a state of mind. You can't just say, "I don't wanna be happy!" and then you'll stop being happy.
I won't try to reason with you on why it's okay to be gay, etc. but I'm sure you've heard it all and just chose not to listen.
Or y'know, I'll just give you the answer you probably wanted in the first place: THEY WON'T BE SAVED. THEY'LL GO TO HELL AND BURN. Okay? :)

It is not a hard concept for gays to be saved. It is the simple matter of making a choice to live for God. God does not look at some sinners and say, you are a better sinner than these over here. All sinners have to get into the same boat at the end of their life. They will all go to the same place. Gays can except God just like thief, robber, murderer, whoremonger, liar, arrogant, prideful, pedaphile, rapist, lazy, and every other category of sinner did. By just confessing their sins and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then allowing the Holy Spirit to conform them to the likeness and image of Christ.

The same as anyone else. Being gay isn't wrong, evil or a sin. All the parts of the bible that say that having sex (gay or straight) is a sin was added by a man named Augustine hundreds of years after the bible was written. You can ask any historian that doesn't have a christian bias, and he'll/she'll tell you the same thing.

Jesus never said anything against homosexuality, and God did not write anything about homosexuality on the ten commandments. If it was such a sin, I think either one of them would have mentioned it. If a gay person accepts Jesus Christ as their savior, they are saved regardless of their sexual persuasion. Also, being gay isn't a state of mind any more than being straight is a state of mind. It's just who the person is, they way GOD made them.

Being gay is a sin and before any of you rise up to scream 'bigot' listen...it says so in the Bible the same as it says adultry, lying, cheating, coventing anothers possesions or spouse, etc., etc. So in what we all need to do is understand we are all guilty of sin and the Bible tells us very plainly all sin is the same in God's sight...so the point being can you be saved because you lie, cheat or steal, can you be forgiven? Then why can't gays? Why don't we all just concentrate on correcting our own sins and making ourselves better for God and leave the judging to Him.

Here's my thought. I'm not gay, but I have an opinion. Gays don't need to be saved. Saved from what? Their choice of lifestyle? Come on. They're people too. With feelings, problems, and passions. Just like yourself. So what they choice the same sex for a partner. It doesn't matter.

How can a religion teach that only certain people are saved while others aren't. Didnt he supposedly creat us all. You obviously need to get some education. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, it is only a minor setback because of social stigma just like dumb people. You have to make up for that. You can relate, right?

Quite simply every-ONE should read their own book, mind their own business, and figure out how they're living. That will fix everything...ONE reader at a time. However to Answer your question G-d does have a few things to say about the whole matter, he has a lot to say about everything and quite honestly he's already said IT. Sooo, straight/ gay, hows about just straight forward with yourself, then offer help, usually u never get to them.

I agree with you for the most part. Homosexuality is a sin equal to all others in God's eyes, because even the smallest sin is still sin. Therefore, if homosexuals accept Jesus, repent and ask God to forgive them, and then stop engaging in homosexual acts and thoughts, then they will also go to Heaven.
