I'm not a believer so I can't put down what is happening to the endtimes.
Watch enough news and the world does seem like a pretty grim place. It looks even grimmer when you take into account the fact that we, as a race, are responsible for so much of and yet we end up passing the blame around, shrugging our shoulders and claiming that there's nothing we can do.
Crime and drugs are the result of people being marginalised, forced into desperate situations, not knowing how to cope. Prohibitive legislation by governments keep people in a disadvantaged situation - more could be done, but money and support it hard to come by.
We are becoming more driven by material goods - we wnat more money, bigger TVs, flasher cars but we don't think about long term consequences. Big companies, banks, governments all expolit our greed.
As a Humanist I acknowldge that we are far from perfect beings but I won't blame a god or a devil - it's our mess, we have to put it right.

Well one thing for sure-the end is definitely closer than it was 30 years ago. I am afraid I will see it before I die. I'm nearly 60, so that is not very long. I'm afraid that no one will listen to what we think we see coming. More people are worried about a meteror hitting the earth in the 500 years that they are about the possibility of Jesus returning tonight.

Life it what you make of it. Some Christians seem to revel in talking about the world going to hell. But have you really considered how comfortable life is for many people these days. Think of the suffering of the two world wars, the depression, and other horrible events in world history. Now we sit in our comfortable air conditioned homes playing on Yahoo! answers and you are talking like life is so horrible!
I think it is you, you are choosing to see that the glass is half empty rather than half full. Your stupid religion is making you believe that the end is neigh a lie that even Jesus himself once told.
Maybe God wants you to enjoy yourself, contribute to the world and be happy with the great gift of life that He granted you. Do you really think he wants you moaning about the end of the world and how His great creation is a horrible mess?
Get over yourself and make a difference for yourself and others.

You just now are finding out that most people don't give a crap. Drugs have been in society for thousands of years. The only thing you got right is I to think the earth is going through changes and it won't be the slow process that they say its going to be hard hitting and world changing.

Jesus said that only the Father knows when he will come, but if we read what Jesus said in Matthew 24, all of the things that he said were a sign of his soon coming have taken place. Doesn't really matter when he comes as long as we are ready.

Jesus is not coming back. It's just you. Earth has another 4-5 billion years left before our sun begins to die out and eventually swallow the earth.

I think the world is still a good place, your making it sound worse then it is. Think about the history of the world, it's never been a perfect place, in fact I think things were more violent in the past.
