i think i have got the same(alexa spywere) during accepting cam.
I have formated the c drive but still it is active.how can i get rid of it?can it be removed without using antispy?
Yahoo antispy and other antispy software are not showing spyware while e-scan is showing spyware/adware and errors.
what are these these errors and objects?

Not only alexa but also some other spyware like power stripper and smitfraud are present in the system.

To get it out:
1) Install most recent antivirus, antispy and antiadvert software, and thoughly clean platform of OS; or
2) use a program that permenantly erases a hard drive. Format is a method of communicating to the OS that the sectors on the hard drive are available to be overwritten, but it does not remove the data. This means everything that was on the HDD before the format is still there and acessible by the spyware after the format.

To keep it clean:
1) disable all cookie acceptance except from your trusted sites. This is third easiest way to spread virus and spy software, after infected email and downloads.
2) get the best antivirus software, and set it to continuously scan for infections in the back ground.
3) get an internet security program, to block attempts made to access / infiltrate your PC by IP scanners. This is a common way of infection, and chat rooms are an easy way to get someone's IP addy.
4) Don't download or open anything not directly from a trusted source, especially SPAM email. Even a plain text email can be infected with virus software (dont ask me how - brand new).
