They are not worthy until they are washed in the Blood of the Lamb for their sins and healed of that terrible sin of homosexuality. They are still good people, but someone living in that sin couldn't begin to morally lead a congregation!

Sure, they can be servants of God, like everyone else. But they should not be leaders (such as pastors or bishops). How would they answer about the what the Bible says? Or that a Deacon or a Bishop should only be wed once to a woman once in the Bible? It's too messy and will lead many away from Jesus.

How could they be a worthy servant of God? God has turn them over to a reprobate mind. Romans 1: 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; They don't qualify being a bishop and should never hold that office. 1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1 Timothy 3: 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 1 Timothy 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

There is no such thing as a gay bishop. There may be a gay playing like a bishop. And there may be a group of people playing like a church with a gay what ever. It is not possible. Gay and bishop are diabolically opposed to each other.

Did such people as you read the Pentateuch, first five books of the old testament, where it tells you when it is or is not acceptable to sell your daughter into slavery? Or the verses that tell how to gain a wife through rape? How about the parts where it says not to eat shrimp or pork? Are bacon eating bishops bad christians? Do you go to hell for eating a shrimp cocktail?
Stop cherry picking the bible, please, and accept that times change. There's ALOT of stuff in the old testament that no one seriously expects to be applicable today. Stop quoting it as an excuse for your own bigotry.

What it would come down to is if the "Gay Bishop" could save any body are turn them to a better way of life with god then what he or she had before.. all sins are said to be equal so his or hers should be no greater than anothers. If the "Gay Bishop" saved one life or soul i would think that he has done work for god and is more than nothing at all. If a "Gay" went to a "Gay Bishop" service for feeling he or she fit in maybe he or she can be greater than his or her teacher and turn from there "sinful lifestyle". Teachers come in all shapes forms and lifestyles, be open minded and keep your sites straight on God with open arms open to assist others you are passing on the way.

No, they can not serve God in any way because they are living a life style that is a huge sin in his eyes. God destroyed two cities in the bible because of all the homosexuality that was going on. They should know they can not be a follower of Christ and do this act.

Jesus preached about love and acceptance. He welcomed women into his group as well as other outcasts - he preached tolerance. Even amongst Jesus' greatest works and words, we can't seem to accept those whom we consider "different." Why should we not tolerate gays within our churches? Why not accept them with open arms - they are people too; just like African Americans, who were not allowed in "white churches" 60 years ago...we would be appalled to find out about a church now who segregated against blacks, yet that is what we are currently doing to gays. I have faith in my own generation and the younger generations to update the church into acceptance. I am hoping that in the near future gays will be welcomed like brothers and women will be allowed to be priests - it is then that i feel we will actually be living Jesus' message as a church community.
Also, this misconception that all gays are pedophiles is appalling! Do I think pedophiles should be allowed in any church: NO WAY! but i think it is very ignorant to think that all gays are pedophiles. It's like saying everyone who lives in the south is red neck trailer trash.

Christians who tolerate homosexuality do not acknowledge that God has forbidden same. I suppose they think they are greater in wisdom than the Lord himself. Or otherwise, they are too comfortable in their lives, and dont want to rock the boat.

No they are not. In fact, they along with other pastors, preachers, reverends, or other church leader that choose to live a lifestyle opposite of God's Word SHOULD not be in church leadership. They teach people THEIR OWN interpretation of the Bible as to justify what they are doing. There's only one way to interpret the Bible and that's correctly. Anyone telling you something different is trying to justify their sins.
